			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dalam mikrotik, terdapat log yang bisa kita manfaatkan untuk melihat hal-hal yang terjadi di router atau radio mikrotik. Misalkan terjadi interferensi, eror, dan sebagainya. Kalau kita buka satu persatu setiap radio atau router, tentu saja cukup merepotkan. Kita dapat memanfaatkan sebuah tool dari mikrotik, <strong>MT Sylog Daemon</strong>.<span id="more-564"></span></p>
<p>MT Syslog Daemon merupakan server log system, untuk menerima kiriman pesan log dari router (mikrotik.co.id). Kita bisa mengunduhnya di link <a href="http://www.mikrotik.co.id/getfile.php?nf=MT_Syslog.exe" target="_self">berikut</a>. Dilihat dari tipe filenya, tool ini memang untuk diinstal di OS Windows.</p>
<p>Disini saya coba untuk mengarahkan log nya ke komputer dengan OS windows. Dan di komputer tersebut saya beri IP publik. Setelah selesai diinstal di komputer, di radio atau router mikrotik bisa ditambahkan :</p>

<p>Karena log nya di arahkan maka action adalah remote. Secara default port yang digunakan MT Syslog Daemon adalah 514. Untuk jenis <em>topics</em> nya bisa disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Setelah selesai menginstall router mikrotik, demi keamanan selain mengatur user dan password baru, biar lebih aman lagi kita atur juga akses ke router. Apa saja yang boleh masuk dan keluar ke router kita. Kita gak mau kan ada apa-apa dengan router kesayangan kita ini <img src='http://winawang.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  . Anggap saja router adalah rumah kita. Bolehkah orang masuk dengan bebas ataukah harus sesuai dengan ijin kita.</p>
<p>Hal-hal tersebut berkaitan sekali dengan firewall. Untuk sebuah router yang baru diinstall bisa ditambahkan kan rule-rule dasar sebagai berikut :<span id="more-219"></span></p>

<p>Apakah sudah cukup dengan rule-rule diatas saja?. Banyak sekali hal-hal yang perlu diantisipasi. Seperti serangan-serangan dari luar misal ping flood, DoS dan port scanning, dll. Bila kita cari lewat search engine, banyak sekali contoh-contoh mikrotik firewall. Namun perlu hati-hat,  langsung copy-paste belum tentu bisa berjalan di router kita <img src='http://winawang.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  &#8230;</p>

<p>Bagi anda yang terbiasa menggunakan windows dan ingin membuat router dengan windows XP, berikut ada cara yang mudah-mudahan membantu.<span id="more-43"></span></p>
<p>PC yang anda buat sebagai router hendaknya memiliki LAN card minimal dua buah, yang masing-masing akan diberi konfigurasi IP yang berbeda.</p>
<p>Misal :<br />
1. LAN card 1 diberi ip : 192.168.0.1<br />
sebagai default gateway untuk segment network 192.168.0.0/24<br />
2. LAN card 2 diberi ip : 192.168.1.1<br />
sebagai default gateway untuk segment network 192.168.1.0/24<br />
3. konfigurasi IP Routing untuk kedua segmen network.<br />
a. Run &gt; Regedit.<br />
b. &#8220;HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters&#8221;<br />
c. Ubah nilai “IPEnableRouter” menjadi 1<br />
d. Tutup Regedit kemudian restart PC.</p>
